15th Himalayan Whitewater Challenge

The 15th Himalayan Whitewater Challenge - 2016 is being held in Upper Seti River in Pokhara from Nov. 28 to 30, 2016. Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA) has been organizing this event since 2002 annually to promote Nepal's whitewater tourism. Nepal Tourism Board is the promoter of the event.

Himalayan River Guide Association and Nepal Rafting & Canoeing Association National Sports Council are also supporting the event. Himalayan Whitewater Challenge (HWWC) is an international event for both Nepalese river guides and paddlers from around the world to compete in this rodeo.

This year NARA has decided HWWC to be held in Pokhara, Nepal's adventure tourism capital. HWWC 2016 will consist of the following kayak competitions in international men and women categories:

  • Boater Cross
  • Extreme Slalom
  • Down River Race

NARA, Western Regional Chapter invite all the competitors, well-wishers, and spectators to come and participate in this event.
