Tourism of Nepal Promoted in Stuttgart, GermanyMonday, April 2nd, 2018

Nepal Tourism Board in co-ordination with Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NGCCI) participated in the German Travel Trade Exhibition, Caravan, Motors & Tourism (CMT) 2018 in the German city of Stuttgart organized by Messe Stuttgart. A nine day long travel tourism expo concluded on January21 with huge footfalls and response of the prospective travellers from Germany and other neighboring countries. CMT- 2018 received more than 2000 exhibitors from round the globe this year. CMT, with participation of more than 2,000 exhibitors, presenting holiday ideas, the most beautiful travel destinations from around the globe, the largest novelties show for camping and caravanning right to the start of the season, as well as a tourism entertainment programme. Special travel themes such as cycling, golf, wellness, cruise ships and culture were featured on both weekends in their own exhibition areas.

The beautifully decorated Nepal stand, located at the prime location-in front of the partner country, Hungery- at CMT 2018 hall 4, showcased Nepal’s tourism products based on adventure, nature and culture. Nepal mainly known for its world’s tallest magnificent mountains among westerners, got queries on trekking in the foothills of Himalayas and other adventure sport activities. The strong presence of Nepal at the expo also conveyed the message of post earthquake normalcy, reconstruction, safety and security in the pretext of booming of travel in Nepal.
