Issue of TIMS Card
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) issues Trekking Information Management System Card (TIMS Card) for Individual trekkers from Corporate office situated in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The similar TIMS card can be bought from NTB’s regional office in Pokhara.
In order to buy TIMS card, foreign trekkers shall have to complete a registration form with details like personal, trekking area and insurance policies. Please click here to fill the form online.
Procedure to submit the form:
- Fill in the form from computer / mobiles with scanned photo uploaded.
- Submit the form with all the mandatory fields. The next step is to obtain the TIMS Card.
- For collection of TIMS card, please visit the NTB office in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
- The Cards are issued between 10AM and 5PM every day. However, in public holidays the cards are issued till 2PM.
For charges, NPR 600 for SAARC (Citizens of South Asian countries) country applicants and for others NPR 2000 and, currently payable at the issuing counters.
